Triangle
needed to maintain absolute air and
water-tight conditions throughout this
extremely challenging project.
The job required Triangle to strip the
old roof down to a severely deteriorated
steel deck, replace that deck, and then
install nine inches of new roofing insulation
in seven layers. The extra thickness
of the new installation required Triangle
to raise critical ammonia lines and
electrical conduits by several inches.
Loose laid EPDM from Johns Manville
and loose aggregate for ballast topped
the layers of insulating materials.
